Karela FC head coach Frimpong Manso has warned Asante Kotoko against their decision to appoint a technical director for rest of the season.
The ex-Ghana defender and club legend believes bringing a higher technical brain to assist Michael Osei will not make any major difference.
"They have to sit as management to find out why all of the sudden the team have been recording these unacceptable results. Either it is fatigue or what's the actual problem," Manso said.
"The leading marksman isn't scoring at the moment. If he isn't scoring, what is the other plan. This is what they must be finding solutions to and it's even the job of the technical team to solve the problem.
"Appointing a technical director will rather worsen the situation. The technical director won't do any magic if appointed since he will need the players to execute the kind of job is coming to offer.
“They should look at the situation critically and find solutions".
Asante Kotoko are winless in their last five premier league games and their title winning chances are gradually fading.
