Asante Kotoko will engage Division One side Unity FC in a friendly on Thursday as part of preparations towards the weekend’s league clash with Berekum Arsenals.

The Porcupine Warriors just need a point on Sunday to secure their 22nd Premier League triumph.

The club thus leaves no stone unturned to ensure the league title is secured at the Baba Yara Stadium with four games to spare, thus the friendly with the team from Goaso.

“The technical team is taking no chances ahead of the Arsenals game on Sunday,” Kotoko’s Public and Supporter Relations Manager Listowell Yesu Bukarson told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“The Executive Chairman Dr. Sarpong has charged the team to win the league this Sunday with a win over Arsenals to enable management ample time to plan for the league celebrations.”

The match against Unity FC kicks off at 3pm local time at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with gate fees fixed at 1 Ghana cedis.
