Asante Kotoko will be in their traditional home strip as the official home side for the FA Cup final against Inter Allies on Sunday.

The Premier League champions are in with a chance of finishing the season with an unprecedented double.

Kotoko, as the official home team despite the final being played in Accra, will be in their traditional all-red strip with Inter Allies – the official away team – will don their alternate white and blue strip.

Inter Allies CEO, Delali Senaye says his side is prepared to cause yet a major upset in the final of the FA Cup competition.

“Inter Allies players and management do not fear defeat but we also don’t fear to win,” he said at the pre-final press conference on Friday.

“We have what it takes to beat any team.

“We need the money [prize money] more than Kotoko. Kotoko is a brand, they command but for a small club like us, winning the money is very important.

“We are hoping that Sunday will be a day for us to take some money home.”

Kotoko’s General Manager Opoku responded by making another promise his side will deliver the trophy on Sunday.

“I will never stop making promises,” he said.

“You need to go on and keep going on until you succeed, who says promises someday wouldn’t come true?”

Kotoko are playing in their third FA Cup finals but are yet to win it following defeats to Nania FC and Medeama SC.

Inter Allies on the other hand are in with a chance of making history by winning the FA Cup in just their debut season in the Ghanaian top flight.
