Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Akuffo claims three unnamed European clubs are interested in signing him.

The 26-year-old played an influential role in Kotoko's Premier League triumph this term.

The box-to-box enforce is remembered for his late screamer against Hearts of Oak as the Porcupine Warriors recorded a priceless 2-1 win over their perennial rivals in the second half of the top-flight.

The ex-Feyerenord player nicknamed 'Gaddafi'  claims he is considering offers from three suitors abroad.

“It’s true there have been some approaches and contacts from some European clubs, but I want to bid my time,” Akuffo is quoted by the 90 Minutes newspaper

“I am in no rush to move away from Kotoko especially now that we are playing in Africa next season.

“I want to thank all my fans and that of the club for the enormous support showed to me during the just ended campaign.

“Hopefully there will be more exciting times ahead before I leave for Europe God willing,”
