Kotoko midfielder Michael Anaba says Daniel Nii Adjei’s humility and drive for success will make him an instant hit at TP Mazembe.

The 23-year-old has joined the four-time African champions on a two-year deal after an outstanding six-year spell with the defending Premier League Champions.

The duo formed an incredible partnership at the heart of midfield for the Porcupine Warriors as they strolled to their 21 League title last term.

And the ex-Windy Professionals exciting enforcer has no doubt his best pal will make the grades citing his modesty and respect for humanity will prove the catalyst for his success.

“He is one of the nicest players I’ve ever met in my young career and I believe he will be an instant hit at Mazembe,” Anaba told GHANAsoccernet.com

“His humility, respect for fellow human beings, God-fearing attitude and above all determination will make him succeed.

“When I came to Kotoko, he really helped me to adapt to life  and I believe many of the new players will attest to this fact.

“He is a great guy and very much down to earth. And most of us are wishing him well especially me. I love him because he's a true brother and friend."

Anaba has emerged as one of the most important players for Kotoko, going into just his second season at the Ghanaian giants.
