Midfielder Frank Boateng claims he has been approached  by Ghana Premier League duo New Edubiase and AshantiGold over a possible move.

The lanky enforcer is anxious to find new employers after he slapped in a transfer request at Asante Kotoko due to limited playing time.

The former Zaytuna and Sporting Mirren player was restricted to the bench last season and played a cameo role in Kotoko’s Premier League triumph.

His decision to seek a move away from the club has alerted a host of clubs and the 27-year-old claims officials of this year’s FA cup finalists have contacted him over a possible move.

“It is not wise to stay with a club when you are not getting regular playing time. They just keep paying you without doing practically anything to help them,” Boateng told Kumasi-based Fox FM

“That is why I decided to seek a move away from the club not because I am not committed,”

“I have had some few offers on the table but Edubiase and AshantiGold have spoken to me. I will just take my time and make the final decision sooner rather than later."

Boateng holds a Bachelors Degree in Education and ICT from the University of Education, Winneba.
