Kotoko accrued GHC 45,000 as gate proceeds during their 2-2 stalemate with Medeama at home on Sunday.

Fans turned up in their numbers to watch the former champions as they were held by a marauding Medeama side at the Baba Yara stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors netted the figure after deductions from GHC 95,000 accrued from the gate from an estimated 30,000 spectators.

“We thank the supporters for trooping in to support the team, the disappointment was we couldn’t win the three points. After Sunday’s game we recorded a gross of GHC 95, 000 and after deductions we took home GHC 45, 000,” the club’s General Manager Opoku Nti told Ash FM.

Kotoko will take on regional rivals Ashantigold in an outstanding League fixture on Wednesday.
