Asante Kotoko owner Otumfour Osei Tutu II is content with the running of the club despite some opposition from the fans.

The champions under the leadership of Dr K.K Sarpong is seeing massive infrastructural developments.

The club last month commenced the construction of a three-storey hostel facility for its academy.

The record Premier League champions have also announced plans to put up a club village to fully accommodate its first team players.

Kotoko have also chalked relative success on the field of play with their top flight success last term which sees them make a return to the CAF Champions League.

Some supporters have however expressed displeasure with the ‘lack of transparency and accountability’ especially with the declaration monies realized from the sale of players.

But the club’s owner through his Secretary Owusu Boateng says they are happy with the current administration.

“The great King has been very much satisfied with the progress of the team,” Boateng told Angel FM.

“The club is now even in the process of getting its own club house and we also have our own training grounds.

“The supporters should give the current leadership a chance to steer the club for it is heading in the right direction.”

Boateng however invited disgruntled groups and individuals to come forth with any evidence of wrongdoing in the club’s administration.

“If anyone believes or has evidence of corruption in the club, they are free to come before the owner and make their case,” he adds.

“In the absence of any evidence to that effect, the owner is very happy with Dr Sarpong’s stewardship and I will urge him (Dr Sarpong) to be patient and tolerant as he steers the club.”
