Asante Kotoko are planning to play a foreign club in May to mark the 15th anniversary of the club’s life patron Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Ashanti king.

According to reports, the club’s board is looking at inviting a top club for the 01 May exhibition match at the Baba Yara Stadium.

In 2009, Kotoko beat King Faisal 1-0 in Kumasi to win the Otumfuo Challenge Cup-which was to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the enthronement of the Asantehene.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is owner of the defending league champions and takes decision on who runs the club.

Kotoko are in top form this season and on the verge of the winning the Ghana Premier League.
