Kotoko players dominate local Black Stars squad for Libreria tournament

Ghana has named a 25-man squad list dominated by players of giants Asante Kotoko for this month’s three-nation tournament in Liberia.

The Porcupine Warriors have five players in the squad for the tournament that includes the host nation and Guinea.

The country’s top-flight leading scorer Mahatma Otoo of Hearts of Oak is among three players from the Accra side who will play in the tournament to be held from 24th – 26th May.

Also with three players in the team are Ebusua Dwarfs while Chelsea, Ashgold and All Stars have two players each in the team.

But players in the local league whjo have got good chances of playing in the Black Stars World Cup qualifier against Sudan were excludued.

Goalkeepers Fatau Dauda and Daniel Agyei were not included in the team.

The team will begin its camping at Obuasi on Monday 13th May with players called up from various clubs in the Ghanaian top-flight.
