Kotoko have reached an agreement with Techiman City over the transfer of attacking midfielder Baba Mahama.

The youngster has agreed personal terms with the Porcupine Warriors pending the passing of a mandatory medical.

Mahama, who is cult hero in Techiman, impressed heavily for the relegated Premier League side last term.

He is expected to sign a permanent contract with the Reds after both parties reached an agreement.

Kotoko interim coach Michael Osei has confirmed the youngster will join the club any moment from now.

“We are almost done with Baba Mahama, we have agreed terms so it is likely he will be joining us any moment from now,” interim Kotoko manager Michael Osei told Asempa FM.

He will become Kotoko's first official signing this season as the club seeks to complete deals for Heart of Lions duo Prince Acquah and Isaac Quansah.
