Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye is interesting in a possible move to Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold.

The Burkina Faso international is available on a free transfer after the Porcupine Warriors released him this week.

Soulama has not ruled out joining rival club Ashanti Gold to prove a point to his former employers.

“Joining AshGold will not be a bad idea because of my working relationship with Bashiru Hayford and the beliefs of the club,” Soulama said.

“I admire them for the excellent organization and their determination to succeed. It will be a perfect place for me after Kotoko because I want to prove a point to all, especially the Kotoko management who did not have faith in me.”

Soulama was second choice goalkeeper for Burkina Faso at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations finals where they won silver.
