Kotoko have completed the signing of Liberty defender Edwin Frimpong-Manso on a three-year deal.

The 26-year-old becomes the latest signing of the Porcupine Warriors following the capture of Ernest Sowah, Samuel Kyere and Michael Yeboah.

Manso is the son of club legend Stephen Frimpong Manso with reports suggesting his father played a key role in his decision to join the Ghanaian giants.

The talented centre-back joins a crack of team being put together by coach David Duncan ahead of the start of the new season.

Kotoko are desperate to recapture the Ghana Premier League crown they lost to regional rivals Ashantigold and have set an agenda in motion to fortify their squad with the acquisition of experienced players.
