Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong has described the 1-1 stalemate with Sekondi Hasaacas at the Essipong Stadium on Sunday as a true reflection of the game.

The Kotoko skipper earned a point for his side following his flawless spot kick to cancel Samuel Afful's lead and has since described the results a perfect scoreline for the crunchy game.

"Both teams had a good game and the 1-1 scoreline is a true reflection of the game," he said.

"We were all determined to pick the three points but it ended up being a split. We both had a point each and I think that is good for an away match," he added.

Frimpong's goal from the spot was his 8th goal of the season and the 6th penalty he has converted.

With four matches to end the season, the Porcupine Warriors are 4th on the table behind Hearts of Oak, Aduana Stars and leaders Wa All Stars.
