Asante Kotoko interim coach Michael Osei has described the club’s season as bad after ending the campaign trophyless.

The Porcupine Warriors placed fifth in the Ghana Premier League and before that had been kicked out of the MTN FA Cup at the quarter-final stage by eventual winners Bechem United.

This is the club’s worst performance in the last five seasons.

"In our side, the season wasn't better because we failed to win any of the two important trophies that's the FA Cup and the league even though we won some trophies before and during the season," he said on Angel FM.

"I think we had a bad season so we will make sure we work on that and take lessons from it to do better in the coming season."
