Kotoko striker Amed Toure will leave for Egypt on Thursday after receiving an official invitation from giants Zamalek for a trial session.

The 28-year-old will be handed a permanent deal once he passes the test and a medical.

GHANAsoccernet.com broke the news about the trial session handed to the Burkina Faso international by the White Knight on Monday.

Toure claimed no knowledge of the deal but GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal that an official invitation has been received by his club for the two-week trial session.

He has been in top form with ten goals for his struggling Ghana Premier League side.

Toure, adjudged the 2011 Ghana Premier League Most Valuable Player, courted controversy during his last trip to Egypt three years ago.

He had signed a pre-contract with El Gouna but the club later revealed he was HIV/AIDS positive.

Toure released the report of a test taken at the Al Moktabar Laboratories in Cairo on August 9, 2012 and signed by Dr Hend El Sherbini which he tested negative.
