Kotoko striker Amed Toure claims he’s unaware of an imminent trial with Egyptian Premier League champions elect- Zamalek.
GHANAsoccernet.com broke the news about the trial session handed out by the North African giants on Monday.
The Ivorian-born Burkina Faso international is expected to leave on Thursday for the trial session.
But the 28-year-old has claimed he’s unaware of the move.
“I have not been told yet about the trial. I am a player of Kotoko and committed to the club,†he told Starr FM
“I cannot deny it because I have not been briefed on the details. Kotoko officials have not informed me yet.
“And so at the moment I am committed to the club.â€
He has been in top form with ten goals for his struggling Ghana Premier League side.
Toure, adjudged the 2011 Ghana Premier League Most Valuable Player, courted controversy during his last trip to Egypt three years ago.
He had signed a pre-contract with El Gouna but the club later revealed he was HIV/AIDS positive.
Toure released the report of a test taken at the Al Moktabar Laboratories in Cairo on August 9, 2012 and signed by Dr Hend El Sherbini which he tested negative.
