Kotoko striker Emmanuel Clottey believes he can form a deadly partnership with Ahmed Toure.
Clottey, 27, marked his debut for the defending league champions in their barren draw against WAFA over the weekend.
The former Berekum Chelsea goal machine partnered Toure upfront but the duo failed to produce a single goal at the Baba Yara stadium.
However, the ex-Esperance attacker is confident his partnership with the Ivorian import will come good.
ââ¬ÅI know when we play together consistently weââ¬â¢ll be deadly,â⬠he said
ââ¬ÅI had some injury but Iââ¬â¢m glad about the way I played against WAFA.à I hope in our next game weââ¬â¢re going to do something positive.
ââ¬ÅTour and I need a couple of games to gel. Itââ¬â¢s all a matter of time.ââ¬
Kotoko will play Berekum Chelsea in their next Ghana Premier League fixture at the once dreaded Golden City Park.
Chelsea boasts of the best home record this season, scoring 11 goals in the process.
