Striker Ahmed Toure will only join an overseas club if he is ever to leave Asante Kotoko, Ghanasoccernet.com understands.

The player was on Wednesday reported to be considering a lucrative offer from last season's Premier League champions, Berekum Chelsea.

An astonishing 150,000 Ghana cedis cash which by Thursday has risen to 250,000 plus a car of his choice is said to have been offered to the Ivorian import by Chelsea President, Emmanuel Kyeremeh.

However, the 24-year-old seems unfazed by the huge offer and has pledged his future with the Porcupine Warriors.

"I am and will still be a Kotoko player by the time the new premier league season kicks off," Toure told Accra-based Hot FM.

"Even though the offer from Chelsea, as I am hearing is huge, I want to state emphatically that I will only leave for an overseas club if ever I leave Kotoko."

The striker whose mother (Djeneba Kone) is taking ill back home in the Ivory Coast also confirmed his availability for Kotoko's pre-season tour of Serbia.

"I will be part of Kotoko's team for the Serbia trip and I hope we do well to represent Ghana well while there," he added.

The entire Kotoko contingent are expected to leave Accra on Saturday for the Serbia tour.
