Ghanaian giants Kotoko have suffered a massive blow ahead of Sunday's clash with arch-rivals Hearts of Oak as first choice centre-back Ahmed Adams will miss the game in Kumasi.

Adams has been suspended for the crucial match which is a damaging blow for the Porcupines.

The 23-year-old will not be available for selection due to yellow cards accumulation.

Coach Michael Osei must now find extra way to uplift his side following their humiliating 4-1 defeat to struggling Dwarfs on Wednesday.

Adams will be replaced by talented Edwin Tuffuor Frimpong at the heart of the defence.
