Asante Kotoko continued their build up to Sunday’s game against Arsenals after thrashing second-tier Unity FC  4-0 in a friendly on Thursday.

Left-full back Gideon was on target for the second time in five days after he notched the third goal at the Baba Yara stadium after Emmanuel Offei and ex-Asec Mimosa striker Nafiu Iddrisu had scored the opening two goals for the Porcupine Warriors.

Striker Ahmed Toure struck the fourth goal with a superb solo effort. It was the first goal for the Ivorian since he returned from suspension.

The Kumasi-based club will wrap up their 22nd League title if they beat Arsenal in front of their vociferous fans on Sunday.
