Kotoko will not sign Brazilian striker Da Silva

Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko will not offer Brazilian striker Hermes Da Silva contract at the club after he failed to impressed at trials.

Da Silva travelled with the Porcupine Warriors for their tour of Tamale and played in three of their pre-season games.

However he failed to impress Kotoko trainer Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and he would not recommend him to management for negotiations to commence.

“Silva and the others I was trying out. I don’t think they fall into the category of players we want. For us we  want  players who can influence our team play," Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani told Citi FM's Godfred Akoto.

If you still stay at this level its better to get somebody else. I think they are potentials but not up to our standards  yet."

The Brazilian trained with Hearts once when he initially arrived in Ghana but he was told there will be no deal for him.
