Asante Kotoko youth team coach Ernest Apau has tipped midfielder Randoff Akwasi Nti to be a key player for the senior side in the 2016 Ghana Premier League season.

The creative midfielder has signed a three-year professional contract after graduating from the club’s U17 side where he spent four years.

“He is one player who can go really far if he can maintain his humility and always listen to the instructions of the coach,” Apau told Kotoko Express.

“He can fit in the creative midfield role which Kotoko need so much.”

Nti scored one of the goals as Kotoko beat Bechem 2-0 in last Sunday’s pre-season friendly at the Baba Yara Stadium.

He was part of the squad which travelled to Libya to play Al Ittihad Tripoli in two friendly matches.
