English Premier League side Sunderland have invited four Asante Kotoko youth team players for trials.

Striker Prince Amankwah and midfield trio Saddick Mohammed, Lukman Kasim and Abdul Mujeeb will be given two weeks to impress coaches at Sunderland.

The quartet is expected to leave for the trials by the end of this month.

They will be accompanied by three members of the Asante Kotoko’s board who will also be holding talks with their Sunderland counterparts over their existing partnership agreement.

The Ghanaian champions have a running three-year partnership agreement with the Black Cats.
