Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko are on the verge of securing their transfer targets ahead of the new season, Oman FM has reported.

The Porcupine Warriors have been linked with a number of top stars including New Edubiase playmaker Asiedu Atobrah, Aduana Stars defender Godfred Saka, Medeama trio Godfred Rockson, Theophilus Anoobah and Joseph Gordon.

The club is also believed to be closing in on Hearts targets Foli Adade and Hans Kwoffie.

According to the Accra-based side radio station, the Kumasi-based side are on the verge of securing their services ahead of the start of the new campaign after majority of them applied for floating status.

The Ghanaian title record holders want to fortify their squad ahead of their participation in the CAF Champions League next year.

They crashed out from the preliminary stage after losing to relatively unknown Liberian side Barrack Young Controllers the last time out.
