Asante Kotoko influential player Eric Donkor says he will prefers team laurels to personal achievement as he eyes league title triumph with the Oseikrom lads.

The former Windy Professional versatile player has been a refined player with the Reds as he has become a set piece specialist for David Duncan’s side.

The 24-year old midfielder says he prefers team laurel to personal glory.

“If after the whole season, I don’t win any personal award but the team wins trophies, I will be happy.

I have to work very hard so that my team can win the trophies that we will be targeting this season,” Donkor told Ghanasoccernet.com.

Last season Donkor was one of the standout players for Kotoko though the Kumasi-based club went trophyless.
