A solitary strike from midfielder Daniel Nii Adjie has handed Asante Kotoko their first win in their ongoing pre-season tour of Serbia.

The club coached by Serb, Bogdan Korak stood resolute to withstand a late onslaught form FC Metalac GM who placed 14th in the last Serbian League season.

Despite battling hard for an equalizer, the European club were unable to score against the Ghana Premier League giants after falling behind in just the 5th minute of the game.

The win is a massive boost for the team who lost their first game against Sevojno on Monday.

The team will play FC Borac Cacak and FC Vojvodina before returning home ahead of the start of the new Premier League campaign.
