Kwadwo Asamoah and Massawudu Alhassan are set to start in Ghana's game against Mali on Saturday per the Black Stars final training session on Friday.

This means Jordan Ayew who partnered Asamoah Gyan in attack and Samuel Inkoom who was used as a left-back in the opening Nations Cup game against Botswana could be dropped to the bench.

Jonathan Mensah also comes in to replace suspended John Mensah and will partner John Boye in central defence against the Eagles of Mali.

This comes after coach Goran Stevanovic hinted that he will make changes for the game against the Eagles.

The three players were used in the team most likely to start as they completed their final training ahead of the match to be played on Saturday.

Adam Kwarasey, John Paintsil, Sulley Muntari, Andre Ayew, Anthony Annan, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and Asamoah Gyan all maintain their places in the starting line-up for the probables.

Ghana's probable starting XI against Mali:

Adam Kwarasey, Massawudu Alhassan, John Boye, Jonathan Mensah, John Paintsil, Andre Ayew, Anthony Annan, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, Kwadwo Asamoah, Sulley Muntari and Asamoah Gyan.
