Kwadwo Asamoah in action for Ghana

By Ameenu Shardow

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is expected to arrive tonight for the 2013 Nations Cup qualifiers against Malawi.

The 24-year-old was in action for Juventus on Sunday in their 4-1 win over Udinese.

Asamoah however left Italy on Monday morning and is expected to touch down at the Kotoka International Airport this evening to join his colleagues in the Black Stars camp.

“Off to Ghana to join the national team camp for the qualifiers,” Asamoah tweeted earlier on.

The former Udinese man’s form has been peerless since joining the Serie-A champions this summer.

It however remains to be seen if he is able to translate his scintillating club form to the national team.

Ghana needs to win resoundingly in the first leg encounter against The Flames at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.

The Black Stars will then travel to play Liberia in an international friendly in Monrovia before battling The Flames in the second leg.

Gsn stop over hyping players and give the small boy a space. Will his travelling alone give us 3 points.

Thunder, what are you talking about? if you don’t have any comment, don’t come releasing your boredom on GSN. Every action of a star is news. and he is currently the most shining star in the Black stars.
