Ghanaian striker Kwame Amponsah-Karikari inspired Balikesirspor with a classy finish in their 2-0 win over Tavsanli Linyitspor in the Turkish second-tier league on Sunday afternoon.

The 20-year-old has now taken his season's tally to 11 in all competitions but 10 in the Turkish Lig. 1.

Karikari, Balikesirspor's highest scoring player this season, assisted Muhammet Reis for the opener in the 14th minute before he raced from the center to volley home a sensational left-footed drive from just outside of the box.

Balikesirspor have targeted promotion back to the Turkish elite the division and the form of the former Inter Allies goal-poacher has contributed immensely to their campaign as they have pushed up to third-place, just a point between them and ?stanbul BB.

Karikari is just nine goal away of achieving his twenty-goal target for the season.
