Ex Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah to appear before World Cup Commission on Thursday

In what is the biggest appearance yet at the 2014 World Cup Commission, former Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah and a member of his backroom staff Stephen Appiah will address the investigative body today to give the insider details of what wreaked Ghana's World Cup campaign.

A massive attendance is expected at the commission's hearing on Thursday morning as the two Appiahs will give details of what transpired in Brazil with the insider and first hand view.

Kwesi Appiah is expected to address the issue of how Kevin-Prince Boateng verbally insulted him which led to the Schalke player being sacked from the Black Stars team.

He will also give details of Sulley Muntari attack on a management member while answering the key question of what damaged Ghana's campaign at the World Cup.

His revelations is expected to attract a huge crowd with many expecting to hear what had been previously speculated.

The duo, who were key members of Ghana's delegation at the World Cup, will be answering questions on how the team prepared for the tournament in Brazil and why they failed to progress.

Coach Appiah will also give an insider account of how Sulley Muntari attacked the management committee member and how Kevin-Prince Boateng verbally insulted him during a training session.

Appiah will be making an appearance before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry on Thursday to primarily give evidence over his role in Ghana’s qualification and participation at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The 54-year-old is expected to make several revelations in what should be an interesting sitting on Thursday with ex Ghana captain Stephen Appiah also set to make an appearance.

Both were involved in Ghana’s as members of the technical team/backroom staff during the 2014 World Cup where the Black Stars failed to make it past the group stage.
