Agent of English-born striker Kwesi Appiah - Saif Rubie, predicted his client would earn a Black Stars call-up a month ago.

The Crystal Palace striker who is on loan at English League Two side Cambridge United, surprisingly made the cut for Ghana's squad for the 2015 AFCON.

He has scored six goals in his recent loan spell at Cambridge United.

Appiah, 24, has had his call-up criticised by many Ghana fans but his agent, Saif Rubie who is also the agent of defender Samuel Inkoom and Chelsea's Christian Atsu predicted his call-up in November.

Saif posted a picture of the striker on Instagram linking Kwesi Appiah to the Black Stars.

In another post he showed himself, Ghana coach Avram Grant and unknown fellow seated at a table and writing Black Stars AFCON 2015.

It is also no secret that Saif is the official agent of Avram Grant.

Kwesi Appiah's call-up is now being linked with Saif's professional relationship with Grant and the Crystal Palace striker.
