Kwesi Nyantakyi to pay a working visit to the Volta Region

President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi will pay a working visit to the Volta Regional capital Ho on Wednesday 26th August. The visit which comes off  at the Pensioners Hall will be his first visit to the region after his re-election into office for a third term. Mr. Nyantakyi who oversees Footballing in the country intends to use this visit to formally meet the Executives of the Regional Football Association, interact with Division Two Clubs, the Media and other stakeholders in football.

The PRO of the Volta Regional Football Association, Eric Eli Adzie confirmed the news to  ghanasoccernet.com. â€œI can confirm that the president of the Ghana Football Association Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi will pay a working visit to the region on Wednesday 26th august 2015.

He will be expected to meet all Division two clubs and other stake holders in football”, he said. The President was re-elected last Tuesday at the Extraordinary Congress in Tamale for a third term in office where he polled 97 votes out of the 123 expected delegates.

He was first elected president of the Association in 2005 after serving in acting capacity as a chairman of the GFA for a year.
