LA LIGA / REAL MADRID: Shouts of \"Florentino out\" in the stands

Published on: 27 February 2016

Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu stadium once again rang out with cries of "Florentino out" during the second half of the Madrid derby. When Antoine Griezmann scored for Atlético Madrid the home fans couldn't contain their displeasure.

Similar to what happened during the 'Clásico' against Barcelona, a large section of the home supporters blamed the president for the club's plight. Only those in the official singing stand tried to drown out the cries of fans demanding Florentino Pérez's head, which reverberated around the stadium most notably in the second wave of anger directed towards the Real Madrid president.

The 'Los Blancos' fans are sick and tired of the team's poor results and performances, and are looking for culprits on and off the pitch. In addition to venting their anger at Florentino, the disgruntled crowd whistled in dissatisfaction at Isco and James Rodríguez when they were substituted. Zinedine Zidane was spared for now and seems to still have the Bernabéu on his side.
