Ghanaian defender Lalas Abubakar was named in the MLS Team of the Week after the first round of matches at the weekend.
Abubakar starred as Columbus Crew secured a 2-0 win over Toronto FC away.
MLSsoccer.com editorial staff voted him as the best right back.
Two of his teammates Federico Higuain and Milton Valenzuela also made it in the Best XI for Week 1.
