Bordeaux's Senegalese defender Lamine Sane and France's Jerome Prior have been suspended indefinitely by the club.
The ban is as a result of what Bordeaux have described as a 'serious incident' following their 4-3 extra-time loss to Nantes in their French Cup tie last night. The club have said they will make no further comment on the matter.
Sane had been a January transfer target for the Premier League's bottom club Aston Villa.
