Latif Blessing believes his first goal for Swope Park Rangers on his debut will serve as a springboard to a successful career in the United States.

Blessing gave Rangers’ a 2-1 lead in the 62nd minute when Daniel Salloi crossed the ball in and the former Liberty Professionals man put it home.

He is on loan from MLS side Sporting Kansas City for more first team experience and the former Ghana Premier League MVP is confident he will come good.

''It felt great to get the goal, especially in my first time playing in Kansas City. I'm so happy. This game gave me more time to play and more experience. The coaches are teaching me to how to play the game and learn faster,'' he said in a post-match interview.
