Liberty Professionals winger Latif Blessing has hailed the just-ended season as the best of his young career.

Blessing, 17, delighted the crowd with his glossy displays for the capital-based side in his debut season.

The diminutive youngster played an influential role for the scientific soccer lads as they finished fifth on the table.

And the former Asante Kotoko ‘ball-boy’ has been left impressed with his work ethics this term.

“It was a great experience playing in the league. The league has been very competitive as we lost some matches at home and won some away. It was a great playing for a club like Liberty Professionals and I thank the management and the technical team for the opportunity,” he said.

“I wish the League was not over because I was enjoying it. I would like to say thank you to everybody for their support especially the leadership of Liberty Professionals, my colleague players and the fans. I have really enjoyed the league.”

Blessing is in the reckoning of being nominated for the Most Promising Player of the Year after a fabulous debut.
