Ashantigold captain Lawrence Lartey has backed the side to win their first Ghana Premier League title in over a decade.
The miners are four-points clear at the top ahead of the resumption of the second half of the Ghanaian top-tier.
However, there are doubts about the title credentials of the Obuasi based-side wit history not in their favour in the last couple of years.
But club captain Lawrence Lartey insists they will not let the opportunity slip this time around.
ââ¬ÅAshGold has been in this situation before but the team is more matured this time around,â⬠he is sportscrusader.
ââ¬ÅWe have players who have been in the team for three years so there unity and bond is very strong.
ââ¬ÅI donââ¬â¢t think we will let the title slip by us this time around.ââ¬
Ashantigold travel to Accra to face Hearts on June 7.
