Lazio forward urges side to carry Europa League form over to Serie A

Lazio star Felipe Anderson has asked for his team to carry their sparkling Europa League form into regular Serie A action.

The Biancocelesti are a force to be reckoned with in European competition, as they become the only Italian side still standing in the Europa League this season, and now as a next step their Brazilian forward has asked for success on another front.

“We feel strong because of this victory and now we must do well in the league,” said Anderson to Sky Sport Italia.

“We must try to get as many points as we can in Serie A, and then when the time comes we can again focus on the Europa League.”

Anderson was on the scoresheet as the Aquile swept aside opponents Galatasaray 3-1 at the Stadio Olimpico, and the player confirmed to supporters that he’s feeling good in a Lazio shirt.

“I feel good, if I don’t play then it’s obvious that I won’t be happy,” he continued.

“I’m still willing to give and sacrifice so much for this club.”
