Lazio increase offer for West Ham United striker

As they look to secure the forward’s services, Lazio have increased their presented offer for West Ham United for Enner Valencia.

The 26-year-old only made 23 appearances for the Hammers in all competitions last season, scoring four times and assisting twice, and West Ham’s decision to buy a new forward has prompted Lazio president Claudio Lotito into making a move for the Ecuadorian international.

According to Sky Italia, Lazio are looking to replace Miroslav Klose by snapping up Valencia, who is likely to fall out of favour next season at the Olympic Stadium, West Ham’s new home ground.

The London club are being offered â‚¬3 million for the loan, with an obligation to buy him at €10m, should Valencia feature in more than 50 per cent of the Biancocelesti’s games.

Valencia joined West Ham from Mexican club Pachuca in 2014 for a fee in the region of â‚¬14.3m, having previously played for Ecuadorian club Emelec.
