Asante Kotoko acting Chief Executive Opoku Nti says the club will have themselves to blame if they fail to win this seasonââ¬â¢s Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors finished the first half of the season with a seven-point lead at the top of the table.
Their closet challengers are Ashanti Gold and perennial rivals Hearts of Oak.
Kotoko have vowed to maintain their dominance for a third successive title defence.
"There is no way we are losing this league itââ¬â¢s never in our tradition to lead by seven points and allow it to slip through our hand,â⬠Nti told GHANASoccernet.com
"We wonââ¬â¢t get complacent but rather look to wrap it up as soon as possible so as to concentrate on our continental commitment.ââ¬
The Ghana Premier League is on break and is set to resume after the CHAN tournament in South Africa.
Kotoko have contributed eight players to Ghanaââ¬â¢s team.
