League's top scorer rejects prize tag

Ghana Premier League joint top scorer Bismark Idan claims he is worth more than the US$ 40,000 prize tag placed on his head after a flourished season. The Kessben FC striker says his suitors should be prepared to stump out a whopping sum to secure his signature next term.

"If you look at my performance this season, I would say that I am worth more than the 60,000 Ghana cedis price tag. As at now, no team has made a formal offer for me but I know that some clubs are chasing my signature," the rasta-haired forward said.

"Hopefully, all these will be sorted out very soon so I can concentrate on my football, he concluded.

Idan raked in 13 goals with Samuel Affum and has been a target of Hearts and Kotoko.

He joins past winners Ishmael Addo, Eric Bekoe, Emmanuel Clottey and Alex Asamoah.
