Leeds United new Ghanaian signing Caleb Ekuban wants to emulate the history his compatriot Anthony Yeboah made at the English side.
The Italian born Ghanaian striker completed his move to the Elland Road last week from Chievo Verona following his best season in his career on loan at FK Partizani.
The versatile attacker bagged 17 goals for the Albanian side and dreams of replicating the exploits of the ex-Ghana striker during his stint at the club.
Anthony Yeboah is touted as one of the most prolific strikers in Ghana and African football history.
He scored 24 goals in 47 appearances for English Championship side between 1995 and 1997 and now Ekuban wants to emulate his compatriot to make history.
“I remember Leeds playing against AC Milan in the Champions League and they had a great Ghanaian striker Tony Yeboah, so I had heard of them but I still have to learn about Leeds" he told club's website.
“I hope and I dream (I can score goals like Yeboah) so I will try my best.”
