Ghana defender Seth Owusu has passed a late fitness test for Chivas US as they face Vancouver Whitecaps FC in a crucial Major League soccer action on Wednesday night.

The ex-Medeama SC left-back defender has enjoyed an incredible run with the top-flight American outfit since he joined them on loan at the beginning of the season.

Coach Robin Fraser is delighted to have the sensational defender back for the Goat who lie 7th on the league table with 11 games into the season.

The 22-year-old who has been heavily tipped to solve the problematic left-full back position in the Black Stars is thrilled to be back on the pitch for tonight’s game.

"I have fully recovered from the muscle tear and will be involved in the action tonight and that’s for me is exciting,”  Owusu told GHANAsoccernet.com

"This is a very important game for us and I’m delighted to be part of the team. It has not been easy at all but injuries are part of the game and so I took it with good faith."

He was called into the Black Stars’ camp before an African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan in October last year but did not play in the match.
