Leicester City defender Jeff Schlupp has hailed the fans and lamented the results poor results despite their impressive performances in the Premier League.

This comes after Tottenham claimed their third successive Premier League win as they sealed a 2-1 success at bottom-of-the-table Leicester on Friday.

Leicester had 22 attempts on goal compared with eight for Spurs which has left the Ghana defender frustrated.

"Fans were immense today ???? not the result we deserved but we go again Sunday," Schlupp wrote on Twitter.

If performances had been as poor as Leicester City’s results, Nigel Pearson said this week, he would not still be in his job and once again the manager had to watch his side fail to get the reward their unstinting effort unquestionably deserved.

With 11 defeats and two draws in 13 games, the point at which the club’s owners decide something has to change may be approaching.

With City five points adrift at the bottom of the table, Sunday’s match at Hull City could have huge implications.

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson was serving a one-match touchline ban following his recent confrontation with a supporter and he watched his out-of-form team, now without a victory in 13 games, get off to the worst possible start.
