LEICESTER CITY - King: \"It\'s important for us to get three points from Swansea\"

Published on: 27 August 2016

Leicester City star Andy King has explained the importance of picking up three points today in the game at home to Swansea City.

It will be the clubs first win of the Premier League season and King says that the home crowd will push them through to get some momentum.

“It’s a home game so we need to be confident with the support we’ve got here and the momentum we picked up here last year.

“It’s important to keep that going.

“We had a good performance against Arsenal and were unfortunate not to come away with three points so everyone is chomping at the bit to get the first win of the season going into the international break.

“They’re a good footballing side and the football they play is some of the best in the league. They keep the ball well and we’re going to have to be ready for that, hitting them the way we can. It’s going to be a tough game but one we’re more than ready for. We want to try to get our first three points of the season.

“We know as professionals when is a good time to get a win, but you want to try to win every game, whether it’s going into an international break or a normal week.

“It’s important that we try to get the first three points on the board as soon as possible and start to move towards the end of the table that we want to be at.”
