Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson is refusing to be drawn into talks about the future of Ghanaian striker Jeffrey Schulpp at Manchester United.

The German-born, 20, has had his trial spell with the 19-time English Champions extended to its third week.

But Leicester boss Pearson is unsure whether the towering forward will join Alex Ferguson's side on permanent basis.

"I don't know at this point. He's still at Manchester United. It's as it was," he told the media.

"It's an arrangement between the two clubs and Jeff is enjoying himself there. Both clubs are happy and we will see where it takes us."

Schlupp, who came through the youth ranks at Leicester, has made five starts this season but the majority of them have been at left-back as cover for Paul Konchesky.
