Leicester City have finally become betting firms’ favourite team to win the Premier League, having started the season as far out as 5001.00!
Bookies such as Premier Bet in Ghana, now have the Foxes at 3.05* ahead of their big showdown with second favourites Arsenal (3.10) this weekend. If you think they can do it, you can bet on Claudio Ranieri’s men to win the league here.
The team has been the story of the season, with players like Jamie Vardy, N’Golo Kante and African Riyad Mahrez destroying teams like Manchester City, who have been assembled together at a far more expensive rate.
But it was not until after the Foxes famously beat City 3-1 at the Etihad last weekend that bookmakers made them favourites to win the title, as many believed their bubble would eventually burst.
Stories from across England have emerged that some brave punters could be set to win large amounts of cash, as they bet on Leicester to win the league at the start of the season, when many considered them more likely to be relegated than crowned champions.
Leigh Herbert put £5 ($7) on the Foxes winning the league during the summer. If the fairy tale comes true, Herbert will net £25,000 ($36,000).

If Leicester defeat Arsenal this weekend, the odds will fall even further. If they gain three points at the Emirates, the side will be eight points clear of the Gunners.
