Leicester City legend Gary Lineker has stated that Arsenal have signed the wrong scout from the Foxes.
Leicester have pulled off some wonderful business in the transfer market over the last few years by signing the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy, N'Golo Kante and Christian Fuchs and the club's scouting team have been widely hailed for identifying such bargains.
Recently, Premier League giants Arsenal moved on to poach scout Ben Wrigglesworth from Leicester in order to find gems of their own in the market but Foxes great Linekar feels that the Gunners have signed the wrong scout as it is actually Steve Walsh who is responsible for the club's acquisition of these hidden gems.
Lineker said: "I love how Arsenal nicked the wrong scout.
"Steve Walsh is the guy who found these players and brought them in. I know when he found Mahrez he was sent to watch someone else and came back with him.
"He'd done a brilliant job and that's been the large key to Leicester's success. As in all clubs, it's about the people you bring in and they've done it on a relatively small budget compared with the giants."
